Yvonne Kam
Founded in 1936, Yung Kee Restaurant has a legacy in our city that spans generations. Yvonne Kam, granddaughter of founder Kam Shui-fai, is the current CFO of the company, leading a HK$60 million revamp and restoration of the historic premises earlier this year. She also spearheaded
the opening of Yung’s Bistro in 2019, a sister restaurant with a more modern touch, inviting patrons to experience Cantonese cuisine with a new perspective.

Prior to taking the reins of the family business, the University of British Columbia graduate took on professional experiences including financial roles in corporate organisations such as Walt Disney Studios APAC and accounting firms BDO Dunwoody and Cinnamon Jang Willoughby. Kam was also an active board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation for almost a decade, becoming the second female president of the Hong Kong chapter. Recently, she was honoured with the Greater Bay Area Outstanding Women Entrepreneur Award of 2021.

Kam has brought forth a stronger focus on empathy in Yung Kee’s management style, offering a new perspective in operations with more women in senior management roles. During the pandemic, the team worked tirelessly in order to retain all staff in both restaurants.

His published case studies on prominent Hong Kong multigenerational families are incorporated into CUHK’s curriculum, supporting the professional development of the family office sector. Based in Shanghai for over two decades, Harry has extensive experience collaborating with family offices in China, helping them navigate the complexities of global expansion and cross-border wealth planning. He leads the private client services at Fung Yu Trust, specializing in trust structuring and family office solutions for ultra-high-net-worth families. Fung Yu & Co., founded by his father, is a family-operated firm celebrating its 60th anniversary. As one of Hong Kong’s longest-established firms in financial management, tax, and fiduciary services, Fung Yu & Co. serves clients through offices in Hong Kong, mainland China, and Europe.
